Completed Projects

The list below highlights a few of the sacred kainkaryams that Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust has been blessed to undertake thus far, humble offerings carried out with devotion, dedication, and gratitude to Emperuman, Thaayar, and our Ācharyas.

Compound wall construction at Nathamuni Thiruvarasu, Sorkapallam near Gangaikonda Cholapuram

The Trust was instrumental in constructing a large compound wall for the Sridevi Bhoodevi Sameda Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, which houses the sacred Thiruvarasu of Sri Nathamuni.

Mandapam and compound wall construction at Sikil Kadaram Koorkulathur Dasar Thiruvarasu, Kuthamkulam near Thirupullani

At this sacred place, a mandapam and compound wall were constructed for the temple. In addition, every year during the Tamil month of Aippasi (Karthika), along with nearly fifty Bhagavathas, Thirumanjanam and Seva Kala Goshti are devoutly conducted. The kainkaryam here is therefore not limited to construction but also extends to the continued organization of utsavams for the Lord.

Roofing at Azhwar Thirunagari, Thiruppuli Azhwar Sannidhi, Thirunammalwar Sannidhi and Adhipiran Sannidhi

In these sannidhis, roofing was first constructed nearly forty years ago. With the blessings of the Lord, the Trust was able to reconstruct the roofing for the Thiruppanthal Mandapam, Paramapatha Vasal and Pagal Pathu Mandapam. In total, roofing was completed for nearly fifteen thousand square feet, covering these sacred areas and ensuring the comfort of devotees during utsavams.

Sannidhi recontruction at Sri Pallikonda Ranganathar Temple, Nellithoppu

At this sacred temple, the Azhwar and Andal Sannidhis were constructed in the traditional manner, using sonnabu and kadukkai materials. This work was undertaken with great care to preserve the authentic temple architecture and maintain the spiritual and cultural sanctity of the site

Space extension at Pillailokacharyar Thiruvarasu, Kodikulam, Madurai

At this sacred site, regular Seva Kalam, Thadiyaradhanai, Goshti, and Sathumurai are conducted, especially on the auspicious day of the Thiruvonam star each month. Previously, the space available could barely accommodate twenty devotees, making it difficult for Bhagavathas to participate comfortably, particularly during periods of intense heat or rain.

With the blessings of the Lord, and through the efforts of Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust, a spacious area capable of accommodating nearly 500 people has now been constructed, along with a protective shed. This development ensures that all kainkaryams can be performed smoothly and comfortably throughout the year.

Wall construction at Sri Harasabhavimoncchana Perumal Temple, Thanjavur (15th Divya Desam)

At this sacred Divya Desam, the front wall of the sannidhi was beautifully renovated, and divine symbols — the Sangu (conch), Chakram (discus), and Garuda Azhwar were gracefully embedded into the structure, enhancing its sanctity and visual splendor.

Additionally, the Kodi Maram (flag post) and the Perumal Vimanam were covered with a protective shed, ensuring their preservation and providing shelter for devotees during worship and temple festivities.

Redemption work at Embar Avathara Sthalam, Maduramangalam

This sacred Avathara Sthalam of Sri Embar, the illustrious disciple and cousin of Sri Ramanujacharya, had been constructed several years ago but had become overgrown with trees and developed leakages during the rainy season, making restoration essential to preserve its sanctity and structure..

Through the efforts of Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust, extensive Punarutharanam (renovation/redemption) work was undertaken. The temple underwent a complete rework, and Sri Embar was reinstalled with due rituals and devotion.

In conjunction with this, Sri Vaikuntanatha Perumal and Thayar also received Thirumanjanam and Utsavam, which were conducted with great fervor and the participation of devotees.

Etti mandapam reconstruction at Dhoddacharyar Swami sanndini, Sholingar

The sacred Etti Mandapam, associated with Sri Thottacharyar Swami, was constructed nearly 650 years ago. During the Brahmotsavam, Narasimha perumal graces this mandapam and enjoys the recitation of Pasurams from the Periya Thirumozhi. On this auspicious occasion, Etti Appam is offered, and Theertham is distributed to revered Acharyas.

In recent years, due to structural damage and the appearance of deep cracks, the mandapam had sunk nearly seven feet below ground level, making it impossible for Perumal to be placed there during utsavams.

With the divine grace of our Acharyas and the support of Sri Thottacharyar Swami, and through the efforts of Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust, the mandapam was carefully lifted using jacks and the walls were fully reconstructed, restoring it to its former glory and sanctity.

Ramanujar kootam at Azhwar Thirunagari and Srirangam Temples

At the sacred temples of Azhwar Thirunagari and Srirangam, a dedicated facility named Ramanujar Kootam has been established through the efforts of Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust.

This divine initiative provides comfortable accommodation for Bhagavathas, enabling them to stay, participate in temple kainkaryams, and enjoy the Lord’s divine prasadam in a serene and spiritually enriching environment.

Thiruvaimozhi Pillai Sannidhi/Uyakondar Sannidhi restoration at Azhwar Thirunagari

At Azhwar Thirunagari, the Thiruvaimozhi Pillai Sannidhi otherwise known as Uyakondar Sannidhi underwent significant restoration. The Vimanam of the Sannidhi, which had been damaged over time, was carefully dismantled and a complete Punarutharanam (renovation and consecration) was performed with due rituals and devotion.

Through the grace of the Lord and the guidance of Acharyas, the sanctum has now been restored to its original beauty and divine splendor, allowing devotees to once again offer their worship in comfort and reverence

Garland kainkaryam

Furthermore, at the Embar Sannidhi (Maduramangalam), Kooratazhwan Sannidhi (Kooram), Thiruvaimozhi Pillai Sannidhi, Konthakai, and Pillailokacharyar Thiruvarasu, fresh garlands are offered every day with devotion. This daily Pushpa Kainkaryam, involving the preparation and offering of three garlands per day, amounts to an expenditure of over ₹60,000 per month, all lovingly carried out through the Trust’s continued service and faith.

Temple Infrastructure Kainkaryam – Mandapam Construction for Thondaradipodi Azhwar – Thirumandankudi

At Thirumandankudi, the birthplace of Sri Thondaradipodi Azhwar, the Thirumanjanam and Utsavam for Perumal, Thayar, and Thondaradipodi Azhwar were traditionally conducted in open space, often exposed to sun and rain.

Through the devoted efforts of Sri Ranganathar Kaingarya Trust, a new mandapam has now been constructed, providing a sheltered and sacred space for these divine events to take place with dignity and comfort. This kainkaryam has ensured that all rituals and celebrations are performed in a protected, serene environment, preserving both the sanctity of the utsavams and the convenience of devotees.
